Auditions for The Forest Theater Guilds summer 2023 production of RIDE THE CYCLONE Saturday February 25th 3:00-9:00 pm and Sunday February 26th 3:00-9:00 pm
at the Carmel Youth Center on the 4th and Torres in Carmel, Ca. Please come prepared with a comedic monologue, one-five minutes in length from a well known play or musical. You are welcome to sing a song from the show, especially if you’re interested in a specific character!! If you’re not interested in a specific character, you may sing any song you wish from a Broadway show similar in style to RTC. An accompanist will not be available for this audition – please bring own tracks, either cd or electronic device to link to speaker. Seeking auditions from ages 16+( younger with director approval only). Also, looking for stage Ninjas and puppeteers. Volunteers are always welcome for a variety of positions within the theater production.
Walk ins will be welcome, but appointments will take priority…

Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your selected audition time. Have your calendar handy and be prepared to enter possible rehearsal conflicts. Bring a recent headshot and theatrical resume. If you don’t have either of these, you may still audition and we encourage you to do so.
If you are unable to audition during the times we have listed, you may do so virtually. Send your virtual audition to laurelftg@gmail.com – “RIDE THE CYCLONE” AUDITION in the tittle bar . Include your full name & contact info(phone,email etc) as well as your age, pronouns, and the role you are interested in. ATTACH the following:
- headshot (a JPEG file)
- theatrical résumé (a PDF file)
- video including your name, pronouns, roles you are auditioning for(if you have a preference)
- one song
- one monologue.
